Needle-less Acupuncture
Sunrise Pediatric Neurology is proud to offer needle-less acupuncture for our established patients with certain neurologic conditions. Acupuncture is a time old traditional form of Chinese medicine that has been practiced for thousands of years. One of the main beliefs of acupuncture is that illnesses occur when something is blocking your Qi (pronounced as Chi), which is energy. At Sunrise Pediatric Neurology, we will be offering this as an adjunctive treatment and it will be performed by Chiuying Ko who is a licensed acupuncturist. She is licensed in Georgia and New York. Chiuying has been certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and she has over 10 years of experience.
**Traditional Acupuncture (with needles) is available upon request for older patients.
